TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Lake Erie football team competed against the Tiffin University Dragons today in their final road game of the season. The Storm would suffer a loss to the Dragons, falling 63-10. They now sit at 2-6 on the year and 1-5 in G-MAC play.

Game Recap
The Storm offense started out their first offensive drive by earning a first down on three plays. Three plays later they were forced to punt and on the Dragons first offensive drive they scored and took a 7-0 lead.

On the next offensive series for the Storm, the Dragons would come up with a pick six and take a 14-0 lead. Neither team scored the rest of the quarter, giving Lake Erie a manageabledeficit to deal with.

Unfortunately, Tiffin would put up 28 in the second quarter, including a punt returnfor a touchdown and extend the lead to 42-0. Jaffer Murphy knocked in a 51-yard field goal with a minute left to cut into the lead and send Lake Erie into the locker room down 42-3.His field goal now makes him a perfect 4-for-4 on the year from 50-plus which leads all of NCAA DII.

To begin the third, the Storm started to bring some pressure. They put together a 12 play, 66 yard drive and capped it off with a three-yard pass from Alec Lewis to Nick Mosley, cutting down the Dragon lead once more.

Lake Erie was unable to put anymore points on the board and they finished the game with a 63-10 loss.

Cameron Webb and Debonair Brown both led the team with six tackles in the game. Jeremiah Penick recorded two tackles for loss while DeAndre Goodson had an interception for the Storm's lone turnover.

On special teams, Daniel Jamieson totaled 263 punt yards on seven punts for an average of 37.6 with one landing inside the 20.

The Matchup
The Storm are now 3-9 all-time against the Dragons. In their first four matchups, Lake Erieenjoyedsuccess, winning three of their first four contents with their last win coming in 2013.

Looking Ahead
Lake Erie will be back in action against the Ashland University Eagles,Saturday, November 2nd to begin a three-game home stand. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
